Alpine Slide ~ Winter Park Resort

Winter Park Resort has Colorado’s longest alpine slide. From the base of the ski area, you take a scenic chair ride on the Arrow lift that lasts approximately 10 minutes. Once you get off the lift, you grab your “sled” and get ready for some fun!

Across the 3,030 feet of concrete trough that make up Winter Park’s alpine slide, there are 26 linked turns. You can go as fast as you dare, or as slow as you like, and there are 2 alpine slide courses to separate beginners and small children (riding with an adult) from more advanced riders.

Prices for the alpine slide at Winter Park are as follows for summer 2010:
•Adult alpine slide – single ride: $15
•Child alpine slide (ages 5 and under) – single ride: $5
•Adult half-day* activity pass – unlimited rides: $44
•Child half-day*activity pass (ages 5 and under) – unlimited rides: $14
•Adult full-day activity pass – unlimited rides: $49

 *Half-day morning pass runs from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; half-day afternoon pass runs from 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
