The Village at Winter Park: A collection of condos, restaurants, and shops that have been built at the base of Winter Park ski area.
Old Town Winter Park: A small cluster of shops are all that remain in what was once a bustling area, just a few blocks from the base of the ski area.
Downtown Winter Park: A wide variety of stores, shops, restaurants, and bars are located in the vibrant downtown area of Winter Park, which is located on US Highway 40.
In the wintertime in Winter Park, most thoughts turn to downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing, with a few thoughts left over for tubing, dog sledding, ice skating, and sleigh rides.
In the summer season in Winter Park, the ski mountain turns into a beehive of family activities, including an alpine slide, lift rides, human maze, putt-putt golf course, disc golf course, climbing wall, and more. Also, there’s lift-access mountain biking, nature hikes, concerts on the plaza and other fun things to do – all of which start at or take place at the base of the mountain.
In the Winter Park area, there’s also rafting, horseback riding, ATV tours, fly fishing, golf, arts festivals, music festivals, beer festivals, mountain bike races, concert series, and other fun family activities.
